NORWOOD, Mass., January 9, 2006 — LTX Corporation (Nasdaq: LTXX), a leading provider of semiconductor test solutions, today announced the selection of its X-Series Fusion test systems by Silicon Laboratories Inc., a leader in high-performance, analog-intensive, mixed-signal IC innovation.

Silicon Labs is extending its deployment of the X-Series to support the production test requirements of its new high voltage products. This deployment builds on the success of the company’s early implementation of the X-Series for its FM tuner product family. The flexibility of the X-Series enables Silicon Labs to easily field configure its installed base of CX systems, as well as those at its subcontract test partners, to address the additional requirements of its high voltage products.
