NORWOOD, Mass., November 6, 2007 — LTX Corporation (Nasdaq: LTXX), a leading provider of semiconductor test solutions, today announced the opening of its new office in Shanghai, China. Located in the Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park in the Pudong area, the new office will provide sales and applications support for LTX’s growing base of X-Series test system customers throughout the region. The formal opening ceremony for the new facility will take place on November 16, 2007, with opening day events to include an open house and demonstrations of the company’s X-Series test systems.
“China is a critical market for LTX, and we have experienced significant growth in our business in the region over the past several years,” noted Dave Tacelli, chief executive officer and president of LTX. “We expect this trend to continue as we grow our base of customers in the region and support the ramp of our current customers’ devices. Because of this, we believe now is the right time to increase our direct presence in the region. Our new office will provide the infrastructure we need to further expand our operations, enabling us to better support our customers’ critical product development and production ramp activities with direct applications expertise.”

The new office is equipped with a demonstration and applications lab with an X-Series test system configured for RF, power and other mixed signal applications. Staffing at the office includes applications engineers, sales and sales support personnel. The new office will continue to work closely with ZMC Technologies, LTX’s representative in the region, to provide comprehensive sales and support activities.
